While deer hunting this past November I found myself hunting the corner of a dry flowage. I had been in the woods before light, hoping that the icicles on my eyelashes would soon melt and a giant buck would emerge from the swamp.<BR><BR> As the long shadows of the afternoon began to creep, there was a rush of movement, no sound but a swooping flash of grays which lit into the dead spruce in front of me.
